What hangs above your mantel:
A photo of the cathedral of Segovia, Spain, taken by my husband from atop the Alcazar.
What are you reading?
Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. It's pretty trippy.
What is your favorite building in Utah?
The Salt Lake Tabernacle. Not just for the fantastic acoustics and wealth of musical memories, but because it's such an inspiring example of pioneer resourcefulness.

15 Bytes page redesign
Look forward to indexed articles and more
In the month of February we launched an initial redesign of the 15 Bytes homepage, www.15Bytes.com. While our monthly editions continue to be formatted in the same way, we found it necessary to redesign the portion of our site that has served as our 15 Bytes intro page, held our archived editions, and, since 2007, has featured our Extra!Extra! blog.
Increasing content, published on a daily basis and in a variety of fields, made the redesign necessary. We hope the new layout will help you find what you are looking for, and its image-heavy format will entice you to dig into our decade long chronicle of Utah's arts community.
All of our content did not dovetail perfectly with the new format so we are still working on integrating the two systems. Over the next couple of months we will be indexing articles to make them easier to find, and we will continue to publish new content about the arts in Utah on a daily basis, so be sure to check back frequently. As this new content does not fit into the traditional sense of a "blog" you'll no longer find it referred to as our Extra! Extra! blog. They are simply our Daily Bytes, and while some posts will refer to items found in 15 Bytes, much of the content will be new and definitely au courant. You'll find links to the articles that appear in the monthly edition in the slideshow that appears at the top of the page. A video tutorial to help you navigate the site will be forthcoming.
If you'd like to help us in our efforts, we'd greatly appreciate your tax-deductible contribution.
