15 Bytes Post-Stroll
15 Bytes will be having a post-stroll gathering this evening at Caffe Molise/The Artful Cup (55 West 100 South, SLC). This is an informal gathering, a chance for our writers and photographers to get together and discuss what is going on in Salt Lake, and we invite everyone to join the discussion. Last time we had about a dozen people -- staff, art lovers and hangers-on (i.e. that friend you dragged out to Gallery Stroll or with whom you're going bar hopping later on is welcome to come).
There's a lot of great stuff up tonight so be sure to get out and see it. You can find a full list of galleries and shows on page 8 of the current edition. Colour Maisch was featured as this month's studio shoot. You won't want to miss her exhibit at Finch Lane Gallery, where Sandy Brunvand is also showing a strong body of work. We're also going to see Jenvieve Hubbard's show at Charley Hafen, which we'll be reviewing in the May edition. Both are on the east side of the city, so if you're out that way you might also stop in at A Gallery for Laurie Lisonbee's show of figurative work. And on your way downtown (to meet us at Caffe Molise) a stop in to see Denis Phillips' new work at Phillips Gallery won't do your eyes any harm.
