Limited edition print by Stefanie Dykes. The edition of 25 created for the Utah Arts Council's Mountainwest Conference on the Arts sold out last week. We snuck into Stefanie's studio and found an additional print, which is yours for a donation of $150 ($100 value).


This print by Ed Bateman, featuring a Campbell's Soup Can written in the Deseret Alphabet and photo of Brigham Young, is also the last of its kind. A Sego Lily Milk can done in the Deseret Alphabet by Bateman is available at Saltgrass Printmakers ($100 value).

A pair of tickets to Plan B's sixth annual fundraiser celebrating the First Amendment -- July 21.

This year they're focusing on the theatre with scenes from five banned plays and songs from five banned musicals!

There will be a cash bar and food by Cali's Natural Foods.






A copy of PAINTERS OF THE WASATCH FRONT (a $60 value)



This hardcover book, authored by Robert S. Olpin, Ann W. Orton, and Thomas F. Rugh, presents for the first time a survey of the gamut of painters who formed and have carried forward an expression of nature's mighty gift to both visitors and residents of Utah. Published by Gibbs Smith Publishers in November 2005, this 268 page book contains 300 color images.

IN NATURAL LIGHT: Paintings by VaLoy Eaton, published in 2003. The book is a 126 page chronological history, containing over 195 color images of Valoy's paintings since 1969. Text by Vern Swanson. ($40 value).




THE HEART OF MAYNARD DIXON memorializes a large volume of communications between Maynard Dixon and Herald R. Clark, extending from 1937 through 1945. The documents were discovered by Philip Hone Clark, in the personal files of his father. These letters reveal intimate personal insights into Maynard Dixon. ($40 value)

MY KITCHEN TABLE: SKETCHES FROM MY LIFE by Pilar Pobil. Stories from the life of one of Utah's favorite artists, as well as color reproductions of her paintings ($30 value).




HYUNMEE LEE: INTIMACY WITHOUT RESTRAINT (A $35 value)
A catalogue published in conjunction with the artist's exhibtion at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. 23 pages. Contains over 15 color reproductions of the artistswork. Published by Taipung Publications in cooperation with the Utah Musem of Fine Arts.

A copy of Early Utah Masterpieces: Alice Art Collection, published by the Utah Arts Council in 2007. This paper bound book was published in conjunction with an exhibition of 26 paintings from original Alice Horne Art Collection, which eventually became the State Fine Art Collection. Contains work by many of Utah's great early artist, each reproduced full-page and in color. Also includes the children's book "Alice Merrill Horne 1868 - 1948" written by Lola Beatlebox and illustrated by Anita Crane.

MEMORIES OF MAYNARD DIXON & DOROTHEA LANGE, released by BYU. This DVD explores the lives of Southwest painter Maynard Dixon and documentary photographer Dorothea Lange through the memories of their two sons, Daniel and John Dixon. The title feature of the DVD is an 11-minute film that presents the lives of both artists from the perspective of their two sons. Examples of both artists’ work are interspersed throughout the presentation. The DVD also includes biographical sketches of both artists as well as additional video segments drawn from the interviews with Daniel and John Dixon. ($10 value)

Utah Art 2002, the catalog published in conjunction with the exhibition that coincided with the 2002 Winter Olympics. 116 pages, with over 50 full color plates of works by some of Utah's finest contemporary artists.
